AWWW2019: Sat 14th - 21st September
Welcome to AWWW2019! This is the 7th year of the week-long festival which comprises 25 events plus an All-Dayer. There’s a dazzling line-up of fascinating events bringing comedy, fiction, technology, biology, philosophy, poetry, cinema, memoir and history to Archway. There’s also a great chance to get involved with an all-week Creative Writing Workshop plus a day of bands and singers from N19 in ‘Archway’s Got Talent’ (minus the judges) The festival is brought to you by the generosity of the developers Bode, who have transformed the previously unsightly Hill House; Hak & Engin, the friendly, kind duo from Absolute Print; Islington Council with the steadfast support of local councillors and the Archway events guy Barry Causton who is a total legend. It would not happen without the backing of Reverend Tim Bradshaw and Robert Alderman of Archway Methodist Church, the trustees of Hargrave Hall, the committee of St John’s Church and the managers and staff of Archway businesses. Thank you to the fabulous team at Archway and Islington Libraries for their partnership in hosting this festival, and a thousand thanks, admiration and love to the brilliant, super-slick, lovely, friendly, clever production team and all the volunteers. Have a great AWWW7!
